AFF Training Aerial Delivery, in affiliation with Wild Wind Skydivers & Dempsey Flying Services, conducts freefall training each weekend in Saginaw, Michigan. The basic course involves a comprehensive 8-hour ground training including a theoretical section, video review, written exam, harness practice, followed by your first jump with two of our expert instructors. |

After the completion of ground school you will receive the equipment required to make your jump: a jump suit, hard helmet, an altimeter, a pair of skydiving goggles, and, of course, a skydiving rig with a properly packed parachute. Your instructor will help you to gear up, thoroughly check your equipment and guide you to the airplane. Expect your gear to be checked at least three times: before putting it on, before boarding the aircraft and before preparing to exit the aircraft. On the way up your instructor will also review the dive flow and the learning objectives of every jump. |

At 5,000 feet you will deploy your parachute. Your instructors will stay with you through the deployment sequence ready to remind, assist you or deploy your parachute if you forget or choose not to do it yourself. On your first three-four jumps one of the instructors will stay through the opening to make sure the parachute deployed properly. |

Once your parachute is open, you will receive the radio guidance from the ground to a safe landing at our huge landing area. Your edited video (DVD or VHS Tape) will be ready shortly after the jump. Typically, every AFF jump is videotaped for educational purpose. After the completion of 25 jumps and demonstrating a solid freefall and canopy skills, you will receive your United States Parachuting Association "A" license that will allow you to jump anywhere in the world.
